Corey began learning Ju-Jutsu at the very early age of 6. He has experience in boxing as he trained at the South side Legion Boxing Club under one of Edmonton's most notable Boxers and Trainers - Rick Jamerson (who recently played a part in the movie "Resurrecting the Champ (2007)" with Samuel L. Jackson). While there Corey obtained ring experience as he had a number of matches.
After a long break in training, Corey regained his interest in fighting arts and began self training and researching. He began training in Ju-Jutsu again under the auspices of Sensei Trevor Tessier who himself has had numerous tournament wins and who is considered by Pierre Lautischer himself as one of the best instructors Ketto Ryu has to offer.
Needless to say, Corey became very interested in competing and began training up to 6 days a week in MMA, grappling and fitness. In June 2007, Corey entered his first grappling tournament, the Prestigious Arashi Do "Mind, Body and Soul". He won first place, in his weight division, in grappling with no uniform and second place in grappling with a uniform. In subsequent tournaments, he has continued his winning ways and has won the 2007 grand championship of the Arashi Do "The Series" for under 140 lbs.
Corey is the instructor of regular, children and grappling classes at the Hombu Dojo and is devoted to training and teaching full-time.
Josh was a member of the AKF for roughly 2.5 years training under our head sensei Joe Nelson. While training in karate he was introduced to his current sensei Trevor Tessier who ran a jujutsu dojo out of the same building, took an immediate liking to the class and the art and have incidentally stuck with it since. Josh achieved his instructor rank in August 2008.

Amy has a wide variety of personal interests and is constantly in the Growing up Amy took some boxing instruction and dabbled with a little Tae Kwon Do. She later spent a few years individually expanding and improving upon her own personal fitness training; before finding a home with Sensei Trevor Tessier’s Panther Management Group. Amy has since taken and extended her learning while traveling, choking out Judo guys in Mexico, training in Indonesian Silat while in Adelaide Australia, and laying out her Muay Thai instructor while on Koh Phang-nga Thailand. (Again, I’m very sorry and hope he is able to have children in the near future). |

Dana has an extensive background in fitness, athletics, and the martial arts. His primary foci are kickboxing, grappling, and street-oriented self-defense, Dana also instructs various fitness classes and yes, he has even sunk as low as to fill in for a sick Tae Bo instructor. Also, as a personal fitness consultant, Dana has been certified through a number of fitness leader organizations including the YMCA, and the Continental Organization of Fitness Instructor Leaders (C.O.R.F.I.T.).
Dana began his martial arts training at the tender age of 4 under the tutelage of his father, a former Canadian Middleweight Kickboxing champion, and the then owner of Panther Gym. This "training" though, was mostly a method of keeping little Dana out of his father's hair for a couple of hours. Dana's formal training began in 1986 when he was inaugurated into the Mo Kempo Karate program at Panther Gym under the instruction of Sensei Gary Dawson.
Dana began teaching kickboxing classes in 1997 at Panther Gym. This helped lead to the formation of Panther Management Group with his partner in crime Trevor Tessier. Soon after Panther Management Group was formed, it was enriched with the fitness expertise of his "adopted sister" Marie Tessier.
